In addition to Postmarks from USS Ships, many collectors take interest in Special Event Station Postmarks such as keel laying, commissionings, decommissionings, port visits, anniversaries, and reunions to name a few. These Postmarks are often great inspiration for aspiring Cachet Makers. Requests for Pictorial Postmarks from these temporary Post Office Stations must be postmarked no later than 30 Days following the pictorial postmark date unless extended or stated otherwise in the USPS Postal Bulletin.
